Founded by Myriam Joly in 1994, the brand Missègle manufactures and distributes in a remote factory-boutique on the hills its own collections of unisex knitwear: socks, scarves, gloves, sweaters, blankets, etc.
Specialized in mohair wool, the brand works with a wide range of natural fibers – merinos wool, cashmere, alpaca, yak, silk, combed cotton.
Missègle took part in the Made in Town / Montagne Noire exhibition, which was held from October 21, 2015 to February 13, 2016 at Made in Town in Paris.
Made in Fontenay-aux-Roses. Both a freelance writer and a press agent, she writes about fashion and people behind it: designers, craftsmen and industrialists. She is a regular contributor on Maison d’Exceptions and Made in France Première Vision online magazines, among others. She is graduated from the Institut de Management et de Communication Interculturels, formerly Institut Supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction and from the Institut Français de la Mode.
Founded in 1906, Tenthorey, situated in Eloyes, Vosges and labeled Vosges Terre Textile, completes its weaving activity with a production of advertising bags made from natural materials.
In the build-up to the Paris Fashion Week, Made in Town presents Monteneri, an Italian platform dedicated to know-how in the fields of fashion and design and whose business strategy has been developed by Made in Town since its launch in 2015.
This film was made for the Villa Kujoyama exhibition in partnership with Maison d'Exceptions/ Première Vision Paris 2019 with the generous contribution of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in hosting the shooting and the programme outside the walls. Villa Kujoyama is an establishment of the cultural cooperation network of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
