Abito A Bohemian Institution

The service offered by Wilma Silvestri is called "confezioni espresse" (“express clothing”) and is located in via Panisperna in Monti, the radical chic area of Rome, on the new premises, inaugurated in 2009, where, one of the first thing that catches one’s eye are the sewing machines.

Her range features a selection of some 10 items of men’s clothing, all highly original and of contemporary design, including t-shirts, trousers and outerwear which can be customized (with a choice of fabrics and colours), reconstructed to suit individual requirements and delivered after just one day. Among the accessories, worth particular note are her irregularly shaped patchwork scarves, available in a number of different sizes.

Abito is featured in A Tailor-made Guidebook – Rome.
