For All Luggage
A trunk-maker for several decades, Laurent Foulché has been taming leather to manufacture bespoke handbags, trunks, chests and various other goods.
He defines himself as both a designer and a craftsman, who likes spending endless hours in his workshop to shape the desires of his clientele, with one hand stroking the leather - preferably 100% bio-based - while the other one is guiding the sewing machine. His know-how travels from small leather goods to seats for private airplanes.
Laurent Foulché took part in the Made in Town / Montagne Noire exhibition, which was held from October 21, 2015 to February 13, 2016 at Made in Town in Paris.
Made in Fontenay-aux-Roses. Both a freelance writer and a press agent, she writes about fashion and people behind it: designers, craftsmen and industrialists. She is a regular contributor on Maison d’Exceptions and Made in France Première Vision online magazines, among others. She is graduated from the Institut de Management et de Communication Interculturels, formerly Institut Supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction and from the Institut Français de la Mode.
In parallel of the Première Vision trade show and its space Maison d'Exceptions dedicated to textile producers and suppliers, a rendez-vous featuring traditional or innovative exceptional productions, the maisondexceptions.com magazine is a unique online platform which extends the trade show experience and offers a true antidote to standardization.
Folkdays is born from the travel discoveries of Lisa, Heidi and Kimon, three friends who fall in love with various local crafts while abroad. Wanting to support the local businesses they had found and sharing the techniques they had seen, they partnered with seven artisans to create a selection of bags, jewellery and accessories available under the brand Folkdays.
In order to promote the know-how and the characteristics of La Rochère glass factory, located in Passavant-la-Rochère in the French department of Haute-Saône, Made in Town conducted a series of four short videos shot in the heart of the company's workshops.
